Sophia Luxe Finishing Powder for Mature Skin is a sheer, loose mineral cosmetic finishing powder that nourishes mature and dry skin types with skin-friendly ingredients that work to provide a soft finish while helping to balance and retain moisture.
Named after Sophia, the female personification of wisdom.
This formulation contains special effects multicolor pearl pigments which help improve the appearance of your skin tone, and provide subtle dimensionality which gives skin a natural radiance. These provide a soft glow to your skin, but the effect is less pronounced than the Illuminata, Beloved, Convallaria or Opaline powders, while not being completely matte.
Available in 5 tonal levels, all of which can be mixed together if you find yourself in between levels:
- L1 Alabaster - If your skin is pale and you wear foundation shades Ghost, Alabaster or Ivory.
- L2 Ivory - For ivory skintones, if you wear foundation shades in ivory or light.
- L3 Light - For light skintones, foundation shades light or medium.
- L4 Medium- Corresponds with Medium foundation shades
- L5 Deep- Corresponds with Deep foundation shades, or tan skin types.
Sophia Mature Skin Luxe Finishing Powder is intended for all-over use as a finishing powder and is best applied with a large, fluffy brush over your favorite mineral foundation or foundation product.
If applying over a "wet" product that has a tacky finish until fully absorbed, best results are over completely absorbed skincare/primer. Applying over unabsorbed product will provide a slightly deeper toned, more glowy finish as the pigments in the product will "stick" to the tackiness of the product.
This finishing powder can also be worn on it's own for a natural perfecting finish!
