Some products will temporarily ship with black lids due to tariff-related shortages

Some products at this time are shipping with black lids, as over the past year, cosmetic packaging has been severely impacted by the tariffs. Last year at this time, many businesses were rushing to overstock their packaging, not knowing what the financial impact of the tariffs would be.

I took out a small business loan to buy packaging in bulk, so I wouldn't have to pass on higher costs to customers at a time when things were increasing in price across the board. Components I've had to repurchase have been more than double the former price (I've not yet increased any prices to compensate for this)

Importers were unable to replenish purchased stock as quickly as usual, and in some cases, certain components were out of stock for an extended period of time. For my business, I had no choice but to purchase black lids for my regular sized mineral foundations. (these same lids are also used on full size cheek and face products, bronzer, contour, etc). Clear lids won't return until I work through that black lid inventory.

Mini jars will be impacted next, as when I reordered lids for those, no clear lids were available. I'm currently working through my last half box of clear lids. You may receive either black or clear.

Full sized and deluxe sample size eyeshadows are unaffected and continue to ship with clear lids.

I hope this isn't an inconvenience for anyone and I apologize for the inconsistency across product packaging- I am not a fan of it! Unfortunately, these tariffs have made being a small business rather challenging and I'm just trying to roll with the tumult it has wrought.
