Mineral Foundation is one of Aromaleigh's flagship products. My first mineral foundations were formulated in the late 90's, when Aromaleigh was based in Rochester NY, from 1998-2002. "Pure Powder" came in just five shades and one coverage level, and it's popularity soon resulted in the development of an extensive color range with multiple coverage levels.

I use only pure, refined, and finely milled cosmetic-grade minerals in my formulations. My loose mineral cosmetic face powders are light, breathable, and provide natural barrier protection from the sun. You'll find it hard to believe that something this lightweight could provide such excellent coverage, but that's thanks to the nature of our ingredients. In particular, silky mica powder. This mineral covers your skin in a micro-thin layer, reflecting light, flattering your face and reducing the outer appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Formulas available:

Gossamer:  a variable coverage loose powder foundation, Gossamer is ideal for all skintypes, and is our most popular mineral foundation formula. Available in an expansive 50 shade range, with more to come in 2026.

Dewdrop: a dreamy, emollient foundation excellent for normal to dry, or mature skintypes. Available in an expansive 50 shade range, with more to come in 2026.

Pashmina: Based on Aromaleigh v1's "Pure Cover" concealer this heavy coverage powder can be used alone as a foundation, or as a concealer. It can also be added to Dewdrop or Gossamer to increase coverage levels of these formulas. If you are a former Alima Pure or Everyday Mineral customer, Pashmina isn't a similar alternative- please check out the Gossamer and Dewdrop formulas for the closest type of formulation.  Pashmina is available in 26 shades, and won't be expanded further.
