The Sumerian poem, Inanna's Descent follows the journey of Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth, through the Seven Gates of Hell and into the Underworld, to visit her recently-widowed sister, Erishkigal. To do so, Inanna has to give up everything as she passes through each of the seven gates of Hell, arriving in the Underworld naked and completely vulnerable- stripped of her status and all worldly belongings. Inanna endures death at her sister's hand, but eventually triumphs over death to retake her earthly position, a changed woman. Her story is rich with symbolism that every woman can relate to in their own life's journey. (please not this is a very brief synopsis and I highly recommend searching for the entire myth to read through!)
REGALIA. This is a surprisingly complex metallic shade, because it's created from pigments of different types and textures that are opposite one another on the color wheel. This creates tension between the opposing pigments in the formula, allowing certain ones to show up more than others at certain angles of light/types of light. Sometimes you might see an olive green or even a deep metallic burgundy. Other times, golden and copper hues. This shade isn't a multichrome or duochrome. It's simply uniquely formulated to give up it's little secrets at one time or another.

Sample baggie: 1/16 teaspoon in zip baggie.

Demi Sample: 1/8 teaspoon in 3 gram jar. No sifter. Bottom label only.
- Mini Size Jar: 3 gram jar with sifter and top/bottom labels. This size jar contains 1/2 teaspoon which has a minimum net gram weight of 1 grams.

Recommended application for these is over a cream eyeshadow base (NYX cream eyeshadow base is my go-to!). Sticky or glue bases may work well for you, but I personally don't use these or test/swatch my products with them.
