Di Inferi (rouge), from the Proserpina collection. A lustrous mulberry rouge with violet highlight and delicate coppery shimmer. "Di Inferi" is Latin for the Gods who dwell below- the collective of ancient Roman deities associated with death and the underworld.

"Proserpina was the Roman goddess of the Underworld. The mythology relating to the abduction of the daughter of the goddess Ceres was taken from Greek legend. It is this story that Proserpina is most famous. Proserpina was abducted by Pluto whilst she was picking flowers. In revenge for this act Ceres cast a curse on earth causing a great famine. Ceres refused to lift the curse until she saw her daughter again. Jupiter, the king of the gods and the brother of Ceres, intervened and sent Mercury to the Underworld to ask Pluto to return Proserpina. However, Proserpina had eaten part of a pomegranate whilst she was with Pluto. The pomegranate was known as the "fruit of the dead", and anyone who ate the food of the dead had to stay in the underworld. A compromise was reached and Proserpina could only be given back to her mother for part of each year. For two-thirds of the year she was allowed to live with her mother and the remainder of the time she was obliged to stay with Pluto as queen of the Underworld. The ancients believed that when Proserpina made her yearly visits to the mortal world she brought spring with her and when the time came that she must return to Pluto the bleak winter followed. If your skintone is hard to match, just get a few samples and mix and match until you find the right shade for you!

I had to write a separate review for Aromaleigh eyeshadows because of the sheer number of them! Oh, my; it's like being in the best candy shop in the entire world!!! I kid you not. The eyeshadow portfolio is both huge and genius. You will never find a color range like it anywhere else in the world: the mattes, the shimmers, the sparkles--and the crown jewel--the duochromes, or "traveling" shades! Each color is a revelation unto itself with its carefully blended colors and sparks, shimmers, and/or glitters. Truly gaspworthy! And the textures are superb and coverage to die for. These are not meek, mousy boring shadows. They are strong, witty, clever, and bold!

Color me impressed! I bought 4 sample sized jars of highlighters, and they are sheer but buildable enough to be used as intended or as eyeshadow (she also labels on site what formulas are safe for where on the face!), and that's without primer. The formulas were smooth and comfortable. One shade, HIPPOMANE, is so unique, I'm buying a full-sized jar since it's on clearance and I would be sad if it's discontinued! I already have another order planned too when the seller returns from their break. Shipping was typical and it arrived within the week, safely packaged. Highly recommend.

I've been purchasing Aromaleigh since at least 2015. I started with a few "oooh shiny!!" shades but have found myself coming back over and over again for the every day basics. Prelude powder is a staple for me, and I only add the Dewdrop foundation if I need "full" coverage. But Prelude is such a light, easy to wear skin perfecter that I get compliments on! The Norse mattes start most of my eyeshadow looks, and I love how easy they are to blend with high impact shades.

Mineral makeup has great benefits over "traditional" makeup. I wear Aromaleigh because it is terrific if you have sensitive skin. It has natural, built-in sunscreen qualities. It goes on beautifully, and lasts longer than traditional makeup. But mineral makeup is not all the same! Aromaleigh mineral makeup is the real deal. No fillers, no bad stuff, just pure minerals. And it makes a huge difference on your face. Aromaleigh is the only makeup I use for foundation, blush and eyeshadow. There are SO MANY color choices, and picking what works for you is easy because she offers sample baggies that are inexpensive. They're my favorite thing to make sure I get just the right shades for me, and allows me to affordably try new fun colors of eyeshadows and blushes.

I've been buying from Aromaleigh for quite a few years. At this point, it is pretty much all I use. I'm a sucker for her collections, each of which seems to be even better than the last. Lots of options for everyone. I'm a big fan of sparkles - old, short, and dumpy, so sales clerks and men walking towards me tend to ignore me. Glitter keeps men from walking into me, at least. Lots of sparkles to choose from, but also plenty of more subdued shades for those who prefer them.

Aromaleigh products are Rolls Royce quality at VW prices. No matter your complexion color you will find products to make you look fabulous. My skin is uber sensitive and in 10 years of use I have never had a breakout, rash or other negative reaction from any of the products. I was always told that aging skin needed liquid or some form of cream foundation. After these forms failed me over and over, I decided to go back to mineral foundation that I used years ago. I found Aromaleigh and purchased sample baggies/jars of foundation, cheek and eye colors and was thrilled how well my skin responded. I have oily, acne prone, and aging skin, and this mineral foundation looks amazing on my skin all day! The primer and finishing powders, and highlighters work beautifully too! There are products for every need. As for eyeshadow and cheek colors…you couldn’t ask for a wider range of colors! The sample baggies are a perfect way to test the products before you spend more. With mineral makeup you have total control of how much you use and they’re mixable and long lasting. These are superior products and I love everything I’ve purchased!

Wow! I'd read in the fb group how much people love the Ultra Resolution finishing powder, so I grabbed it with my recent order on a whim. I got the English Rose. Literally just got it from the mailbox and applied over my usual Dewdrop. I'm amazed and keep going to look in the mirror. It instantly gave me a soft airbrushed look. Definitely a keeper. Just WOW!

Aromaleigh has SO many shade and coverage options, it makes it easy to find a perfect match. The prices are reasonable, but I still love that you can purchase samples so that you can try them before making a bigger commitment. Also, I break out easily, so I'm always nervous to try any new cosmetics, but these have all been great! I highly recommend any Aromaleigh products! :)
