RABBIT TOBACCO - EYESHADOW

Color Description: A greyed mauve with strong green shift.

Rabbit Tobacco is a biennial herb that's prolific along roadsides here in the South. It's characteristic gray-green leaves and white flowers have the appearance of dried flowers.  Common names include old field balsamrabbit tobacco and sweet everlasting. When crushed, the plant exudes a characteristic maple syrup scent. It's a plant with a myriad of herbal uses, but smoking isn't one of them! I enjoy adding rabbit tobacco to flower bouquets, for it's unique color and texture.

Color Description: A greyed mauve with strong green shift.

About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (Spring 2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified.

APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos. If you wear them without base, you won't see as strong of a color shift.
