TINY BLUET - EYESHADOW

Color Description: A pale blue-violet base with a strong violet shift.

Tiny Bluets are one of the first flowers to appear in spring here in the Southeastern Appalachians. Small and delicate, they can range in color from blue to purple to violet-pink and even white. They form carpets of color along the roadsides. This little flower is also known as "Mary's Eyes".

About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (Spring 2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified.

APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos. If you wear them without base, you won't see as strong of a color shift.

Ingredients: calcium aluminum borosilicate, mica, titanium dioxide, ferric oxide, carnauba wax, magnesium stearate, kaolin, silica, isododecane, hydrogenated polyisobutene, capric/caprylic triglyceride, dimethicone  May contain: carmine, ferric ferrocyanide

* This particular color does not contain carmine.

Sizes: This collection is available in three sizes:

  1. Sample baggie: eighth (1/8) teaspoon in a zip baggie
  2. Deluxe Sample Jar: Quarter (1/4) teaspoon in 3 gram jar. No sifter.
  3. Full Size Jar: 5 gram jar with sifter and top/bottom labels, custom jar art. This size jar contains 3/4 teaspoon which has a minimum net gram weight of 1.2 grams. I label jar weights on the conservatively low side. Product ranges in weight depending on formula from 1.5 to 2 grams.

NOTE: While we have made all attempts for photographs to accurately depict colors, photography unfortunately does not accurately reveal the depth and interplay of color and effect of these shadows. Also, please note that variations do exist between different computer monitors.
