Back by customer request and available while supplies last for May's Vintage Aromaleigh offering. Available in the "demi sample" size only, due to the high comparative cost of multichromatic pigments (more info below).

PULSATILLA, from FATALIS Volume II released 8/1/2017.

This color is off the charts in it's color shifting. It appears purple in sunlight with no color shift, and a beautiful bronzey-gold under straight incandescent light indoors. It is a gorgeous mix of both shades, with copper to red shift under mixed conditions. A warm deep reddish purple base with a strong color traveling shift of gold to bronze to copper to red and red/violet.

Inspired by Pulsatilla vulgaris, the Pasque flower.

From the Poison Garden: The plant is a member of the same family as Buttercup and contains the glycoside ranunculin. It has a very bitter taste which produces an immediate burning in the mouth. Fatal in a large amount but there are no records of anyone ever consuming enough because of the taste and effect.

Sizes available- Due to the extreme high cost of the specialty pigments used, I have adjusted sizing to be half the amount for the same price. For example- a regular Aromaleigh sample is 1/8 tsp in a baggie for $1.25. In Fatalis, you get 1/16th tsp in a baggie for the same price of $1.25)
  1. Demi Sample: 1/8 teaspoon in 3 gram jar. No sifter. Bottom label only.
This formula features added ingredients for adhesion and wear, which also intensify the color shifts and make it easier to wear and blend over both bare skin and a variety of primers. Your eyeshadow will not arrive in "little balls" like some semi-loose formulas do, but it may be more difficult to get through the sifter holes. Sifters are easily removed. As always, I recommend a regular cream base such as NYX cream eyeshadow base. Your mileage may vary with sticky glue type primers.

This premium eyeshadow collection features truly unique, color traveling pigments that react to various types of light and viewing angles to show their effects. In direct sunlight or diffused light, you don't see color travel. They seem to flash their brightest in low light, and mixed light. All swatches were photographed in my kitchen, in mixed lighting. No specialty professional lighting was used.

As the pigments used in this collection are extremely costly and used as the highest percentage in the formulas (they are six times the cost of the typical duochrome/interference pigment), I have adjusted prices/sizing accordingly. Basically, you will find that these are twice the cost of other Aromaleigh eyeshadows. Example: a regular Aromaleigh sample is 1/8 tsp in a baggie for $1.25. In Fatalis, you get 1/16th tsp in a baggie for the same price of $1.25)

Recommended application for these is over a cream eyeshadow base (NYX cream eyeshadow base is my go-to!). Sticky or glue bases may work well for you, but I personally don't use these or test/swatch my products with them. With all color shifting/duochrome shades, I urge you to use a flat taklon brush or other suitable tool to flatten and align the color shifting component of the eyeshadow. This will create a more uniform and reflective surface.
