"Cosmic Union" is multipurpose highlighter with a champagne base with lilac undertones, and borealis shimmer. Suitable for cheeks, face, eyes, lips!
In the context of the story of Inanna, this shade relates to her sacred marriage to Dumuzid. When Inanna was revived by the water of life and able to return from the Underworld, this wasn't without the guarantee that someone would take her place. Inanna found that Dumuzid had not mourned the loss of her, so she had him take her place in Hell. In other tellings of the myth, she allowed him to take her place, but later softened her heart, allowing him to spend half of the year in Hell and half of it with her, creating the cycle of seasons on earth. This is a common mythological theme that we see later on in the Greek Persephone and Roman Proserpina myths.
