PUT A BIRD ON IT - EYESHADOW

"Victorian Oddities" is a mini collection this year for spooky season! It is Limited Edition.

PUT A BIRD ON IT!This is a richly saturated metallic teal, that contains actual metallic pigment. A base or adhesive is recommended to keep that intense pigment in place, because it doesn't have the same quality as typical micas. That's the price you pay for the gleam and intensity! (note- it does contain added emollients so it's not fly-away and it will better stick to your brush!)

Victorian fashion led to the extinction of numerous varieties of birds, and eventual conservation efforts such as the Audubon society! Taxidermy birds on hats, as well as their plumage was the height of fashion, and taxidermy and the creation of elaborate tableaus with animals was common Victorian parlour decor. Check out this article

APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is helpful to intensify shifts and highlights for a more impactful look.
