This collection in inspired by the process of moving from winter into spring, and the emotions that we experience alongside of it as we leave behind the perpetual darkness of winter (tenebrae, perpetua), moving into sparks of joy (laetitia) and vivid sunsets (vespera), and finally embracing the golden light of spring's fruition (solis, floribunda, aurea). The painting "Storm Spirits" by one of my favorite female painters, Evelyn DeMorgan, provides inspiration to the color range.

This beautiful collection is inspired by that painting and the myth of the Fjallkona (Icelandic for Lady of the Mountain). She is believed to stand under Bjarnarfoss, a waterfall on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
