Convallaria majalis, inspired by the poisonous Lily of the Valley. From the Halloween 2015 Fatalis collection.

This is a luxe finishing powder which contains "diamond powder"** and distinctive skintone balancing pigments. It's a pale translucent buff/taupe powder with a very fine, skin smoothing finish and a subtle blue/green pearlescence. The "diamond powder" is a revolutionary light-diffusing diamond copolymer, which is a spherical powder with an entrapped photoluminescent diamond core. This is a sheer finishing powder- the skin swatch in with the product images is applied over primer to show you the color and soft lustre of the product. It does not have opaque coverage.
Lily of the valley, is a sweetly scented, highly poisonous woodland flowering plant that is native throughout the cool temperate Northern Hemisphere in Asia, and Europe. All parts of the plant are highly poisonous, including the red berries which may be attractive to children. If ingested—even in small amounts—the plant can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, reduced heart rate, blurred vision, drowsiness and red skin rashes. Roughly 38 different cardiac glycosides (cardenolides) have been found in the plant. Its scientific name, majalis or maialis, means "of or belonging to May", and old astrological books place the plant under the dominion of Mercury, since Maia, the daughter of Atlas, was the mother of Mercury or Hermes. Lily of the valley’s scientific name of Convallaria is based on a biblical song in which a girl compares herself to a lily of the valley. In the "language of flowers", the lily of the valley signifies the return of happiness. Legend tells of the affection of a lily of the valley for a nightingale that did not come back to the woods until the flower bloomed in May. (Source: Wikipedia)

** Some companies describe this ingredient as "Diamond Powder", but this is misleading, as there is no loose diamond particles in the formula. The diamond is actually encased within a smooth, spherical particle which is composed of a material known as "PSQ" or, as the official INCI designation for diamond copolymer appears on the product ingredient list, "Benzimidazole Diamond Amidoethyl Urea Carbamoyl Propyl Polymethylsilsesquioxane". (You may see this ingredient also listed as "Polymethylsilsesquioxane/Benzimidazole Diamond Copolymer". This is an outdated designation for this ingredient, which is how the ingredient was originally listed by the manufacturer prior to receiving an official INCI designation.)
