MOONBOW - Benefit full size eyeshadow in honor of Luna

On July 16th I had to put my beloved dog, Luna, to sleep. She was suffering from inoperable oral cancer, and her tumor had begun presenting too many complications for her eating, drinking and comfort- to go on.  Luna was my dear companion for over twelve years. She hiked hundreds of miles of trails with me, slept by my side each night and was the sweetest, yet sassiest dog I've ever owned. As a French Bulldog/Boxer mix, she was a small dog with a huge attitude!

This eyeshadow was originally created in 2020 as part of the "Colors from Quarantine" shades, when we were all stuck at home isolating. I've brought it back in Luna's honor because the night before her vet appt, there was a beautiful moon with moonbow shining in my bedroom window upon us (photo in product details).

This shade is "Moonbow". It's a pale blue with a lustrous copper to rose shift. Shown in indirect sunlight, and artificial light, over NYX eye primer in skin tone. 

The cost to euthanize and cremate a pet in 2024 is close to $500, so I've priced the shadow a bit higher so that it's sale may help offset some of my costs during what has been an extremely challenging year for my small business and a cluster of recent expenses I've had all at once.

APPLICATION TIP: This colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos. If you wear them without base, you won't see as strong of a color shift. A stronger effect can be achieved by using a sticky base, but I don't photograph my swatches over a sticky base.
